It all started with a brick, a small brick factory conceived as a means of supporting the Magnani family, thanks to the efforts of our late Theodoro Magnani, son of Italian immigrants, and his beloved wife Joanna Maria Butignolli Magnani.
Pottery was not the first business venture for these entrepreneurs. She was born in Udine, Italy, and he in the Rudge Ramos neighborhood of São Bernardo do Campo, where to this day, as in other regions of the ABC Paulista, their family and the businesses they continued are established. The small pottery workshop grew into a ceramics industry that later began to focus on the production of refractories for industrial purposes, for use in glass and smelting furnaces. Since the distant 1940s, the small business has continued from generation to generation: the youngest son took over the refractories business, later succeeded by his granddaughter, who now heads Tecnomag.
Tecnomag now has a significant presence in the market, serving large industries in their construction, renovation, and equipment maintenance needs, always in a sustainable manner.
